MAGICAL ILLUSION    "Frasier"

Picture
Jessie and Frasier were a wonderful match for Jessie's second horse.  They both had tall lean body styles, and looked very elegant together.  Frasier taught Jessie the ropes competing at both  2'6" and 3'.  Frasier was a registered TB.  As Jessie's focus turned to high school graduation and the next step, Frasier moved to south Georgia with Eleanor to teach an IHSA team and IEA.  In 2014, Frasier retired to a student of Eleanor's private farm for more fun, easy riding.  (Years ago,  I was pleasantly surprised to see Frasier as a demo horses in Savannah, when I was attending a clinic for my USHJA trainer certification.)

LUCKY'S MAGIC CHARM    "Lucky"

Picture
After her beginner years, Jessie's long slender legs had her needing to move to a horse rather than a pony, so Lucky was her first purchase.  He was a tall Quarter Horse who she learned the short stirrup ropes on. After their time together, Lucky moved to North Carolina with Amy.

LARKIN'S BRIGHT MAGIC     "Larkin"

Picture
Larkin was Andrea's first owned horse after riding lesson horses for 10 years or more.  He taught her all about the ins and outs of horse ownership, the TB way of thinking, and just how smart these animals can be.  Before Larkin came to us, he was a foxhunter near Athens.  After his time with Andrea, Larkin received eventing training from Pam, and then moved to the Conyers area with Pat.

MAGIC TIME    "Justin"

Picture
Justin was Samantha's move-up horse after successfully riding and competing my two magnificent school/show ponies, Immy and Fly in the beginner arena.  Samantha had some height on her so she went straight to the big horse!  She showed Justin in 18" and 2" Green rider courses.

QUICK DECISION    "Topper"

Picture
Topper is the fourth horse that I ever owned.  He was a TB but had a QH build, but he kept the thin, sensitive skin of a TB.  He pretended that he didn't like to be touched, but he secretly enjoyed the attention.  He was bought on a 'quick decision', when someone else couldn't load him on a trailer.  We played in the baby jumpers for a bit, and basically just had fun together.

ENTERPRISEN ROSE    "Grace"

Picture
Grace was owned by my student, Noel.  grace was a registered appendix Quarter Horse who had previous reining training before Noel bought her, and then Noel gave her dressage training.  When Noel became busy with work, I leased Grace and added hunter training her resume.  Grace taught hunter/ jumper lessons and competed at hunter shows with my students before moving to Tennessee with Noel and her new job.

MAJOR HOT SHOT     "Boone"

Picture
Boone was a registered Quarter Horse Gelding owned by Stephanie.  They came to me as a pair, and they were just interested in simple communication skills while riding trails.  I saw the cuteness in Boone and turned both Stephanie and Boone into successful hunters!   They started showing in the beginner arena, and then moved on to crossrails.  The next season they successfully moved into 18" courses.
Boone also taught hunter and beginner lessons and later Boone was leased by Rebecca, one my students.  Winnie competed on Boone in a leadline class one time.
Boone later moved back to Stephanie's house when Rebecca purchased her own horse, Teddy.  Boone lived for many more years at Stephanie's enjoying the quiet life before passing away in 2019.

NO DOUBT     "Simon"

Picture
Cathy decided to lease a HUGE horse after after many successful years on ponies.  Simon was her choice, and she played with him in the 3 ft divisions.
