MARCH 8 2025
Yesterday was Magnum's birthday. Even though he jumped over the rainbow bridge forever ago, it is still a day that I look forward too. The majority of his birthdays are beautiful weather and yesterday was pretty nice. Now Winnie's 18th birthday will be on Monday and she gets a Monday!.....40 degree rain ALL day. YUCK! (And today is sunny and 74 degrees!)
The horses are shedding, Wendy really looks like patchwork with super fuzzy areas plus slick areas. The grass is thinking about greening up, the trees are already blooming, the sunshine makes me want to be outside! I even did spring cleaning/organizing of tack rooms, feed room, horse trailer, etc. March is a good month!

HI! HELLO! It's ME!!!!!
How in the world did I neglect the website and posting for over 7 months. 7 months! That is ridiculous. I apologize to my loyal followers, students, friends, new friends and whomever. I don't know what rock I was hiding under, but I'm back!
First and Foremost, the horses are fantastic. The Epps are fantastic. All is good here. Life has really been normal for the past 7 months.
My previous post was embarrassingly back in July 2024. Since then, the horses made it thru the incredibly hot summer. Fall was probably pretty great weather wise but winter was cold and brutal. I actually put them in their heavy blankets a handful of times and started feeding the geldings hay. Wendy continues to eat hay pellets because of her teeth at age 30. Even though they just had their heavy blankets on about 3 nights ago, I'm pretending that the cold weather is out of here. Wendy is really trying to shed her coat already, and the geldings are too.
We're coming up on one of my favorite months, the days are getting longer, we've been having some sunshine, so hopefully these posts will continue way more frequently than every 7 months!
